You found me. Welcome. Come on in and sit a spell. If you want to write a story, an essay, or your memoir, you have come to the write place. If you aspire to write a novel, close this window and get started. Writing a novel takes a long time. I know. I’ve written two. Just like children who need to be reprimanded now and then, re-directed, and sent to rehab, both novels have been through many revisions and are currently house hunting.

The first, Red Shoes in August, is contemporary fiction about four older women finding new adventures, business opportunities and relationships as their chronological age advances into their final chapters.

The second novel, 1934, is a bi-cultural love story set against a backdrop of the history and significance of train travel as a benchmark of social structure in the early twentieth century in the United States.

Lies We Believe Until We Learn the Truth is a collection of linked stories that takes readers through the mythologies of adulthood bookended by the chapters, “They Lived Happily Ever After” and “Til Death Do Us Part.”

For dog lovers, the author presents Bones & Scones: A Collection of Cuisine and Manners for Discerning Dogs and Their People, a cultural guide for the pedigreed (and studious mongrels who long for a degree) who wish to bathe like pampered bichons and drink like dachshunds at the best doggie bars. From designer dogs to beagles, readers will find togs that entice their people to spoil them with fashions from one of the fine boutiques listed from across the nation. Bones & Scones also contains a recipe section filled with natural treats for the dog who likes to entertain. Social graces’ instructions are simple and straightforward. (e.g. “The dog must not climb up a visiting madame’s leg if he aspires to climb the social ladder.”) If the male or bitch decides to pursue an education, he or she will find an academic reading list from Doggy Lit 101 in Chapter Six. At the back of this book every capable canine will want in the doghouse library are pages for Paw-tographs with blank space for pawprints, a gift all dogs’ people will cherish. (People get excited about paw prints.) Recommendations for traveling dogs provide people with friendly pet-friendly hotels along with travel safety tips.
